Regular Admission

Master's Degree and Certificate Program

Master of Engineering and Technology Management:  Minimum Requirements for the degree program include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, a 3.0 GPA, three letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and a resume showing significant experience.  Students with a degree in other than engineering or physical sciences would be in the technology management option.

Certificate Program:  Minimum requirements  include a bachelor's degree, 3.0 undergraduate GPA, a personal statement and resume.    Because the certificates consist of regular graduate courses, admission to the graduate school is still necessary.

TUITION

The Program in Engineering and Technology Management  at WSU is self-sustaining, which means minimal state support for faculty and expenses.  Therefore, tuition rates are established at a level which allows the program to continue to offer a high quality graduate educational experience for all enrolled students.   This program is offered under the Extended University Services umbrella and is not eligible for tuition fee waiver for state employees .  Tuition rates are established by the Program Director.  If you have questions about which rate applies to your situation, please contact the ETM Program Coordinator at the link below.

Tuition Rates for Fall 2007:

  • Standard (Corporate/non-branch campus) students           $985

  •  Need-based (requires documentation of need)                 $554

  • Branch campus students              Resident                        $378 * **

  • Branch campus students              Non-resident                 $554

***For future tuition rates, we will be applying to the University Officials for a tuition increase (similar to the MBA program's rates) for branch campus students.

*  The government rate is available to all state, municipal, and military employees in Washington State.  Proof of employment is required.

** For Washington state residents taking all classes on a WSU campus at Spokane,  TriCities, or Vancouver.
